Home // Blog // GCG flys into Freelancer – Australian Freelancer Server

As most of you know, Star Citizen is light years away. Ascendancy had started training in the year of 2014 to be battle ready by the time it had been released, HOWEVER, We all know its not coming any time soon. Some of the veteran members have been getting jumpy for a new/old game and this is why we will be setting up a PUBLIC Freelancer server hosted in Australia. GhostCap Gaming will be hosting the game on our dedicated Sydney host with a vanilla version of the game. All download links and server address will be available within 48 hours.

For those who don’t know about Freelancer, players take on the roles of spacecraft pilots. These characters fly single-seater ships, exploring the planets and space stations of 48 known star systems. They also engage in dogfights with other pilots (player- and computer-controlled) to protect traders or engage in piracy themselves. Other player activities include bounty-hunting and commodity trading. There are also a lot of secrets and NPCs in the game.

We hope to see you all ingame. Details will be realised via our Facebook page and the forums! Stay frosty everyone!
